Daytime Admission Tickets

Explore Denver Zoo where preservation is included with admission; 365 days a year.

Order your online tickets, print them at home and head straight to Denver Zoo main gate for entry.

A $1 service charge will be added to the price of each ticket.

  • No refunds, exchanges or transfers.
  • Tickets available until two pm daily.
  • You will be asked to select a date for your visit, however you are welcome to use the tickets anyday.
  • Tickets expire December 31st of the year they are purchased in.
  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a person 16 or older.

Mini Camp: Early Care

If you need to sign your child up for Early Drop-Off Supervsion you'll need to select the correct date and register just as you do for each specific Mini-Camp day.

Animal Ambassador Encounter - Gates Animal Housing

This encounter is open to guests of all ages.

Come face-to-face with animals feathery, furry, scaley, and slimey as you meet the Zoo's most diverse group of animals under one roof. Learn from the keepers about the unique care needed for such a wide array of animal species, as well as the important role that the ambassador animals play at Denver Zoo and beyond. You might chat with a parrot, be tickled by a tamandua, or touch a turtle (or two)! It s sure to be a wild time! 

  • Guests will visit Gates Animal Housing.
  • Program registration does not include admission to Denver Zoo-admission tickets must be purchased separately.

Restrictions:

  • This encounter is open to guests of all ages.
  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying participant that is 16 years of age or older.
  • Program registration does not include admission to Denver Zoo- admission tickets must be purchased separately.

  • Denver Zoo reserves the right to re-route or cancel any tour due to animal health or safety concerns. In the event of cancellation, efforts will be made to reschedule you on a later date.
  • You must check in at Guest Services 15 minutes prior to the start time of your encounter. The behind the scenes nature of this experience makes joining the group late not possible.
  • There is limited access for service animals in the behind-the-scenes areas. Please call 720-337-1400 to confirm.

  • A cancellation fee of 100% will be charged for a missed adventure.

Brownie Girl Scout - Pets Bunk

Ages - 7-9

Brownies Pets Bunk, is an Overnight Adventure for Brownies. At this Bunk, Brownie Girl Scouts will earn their Pets badge and stay overnight in Denver Zoo s onsite Gates Education Center.

Bunk with the Beasts overnight adventures offer a more intimate, personalized exploration of the zoo. Each Bunk with the Beast overnight adventure includes different activities specific to the theme, but you can count on an active, fun-filled experience that includes:

  • A guided zoo tour focusing on animals relating to the Bunk theme
  • Animal encounters (you will not touch a tiger, but you will get up close and personal with some of our education animals).
  • A variety of educational games and activities, including use of night vision scopes.
  • An opportunity to see the zoo at night, without the large crowds!
  • Scout Bunks are tailored around Girl Scout or Cub Scout badges, journeys or achievements. 

Important information:

  • Must have at least 10 Brownies to register
  • Children must be 5+ to attend bunk
  • This bunk does not include dinner or evening snack, but will include breakfast.
  • Registered participants are free to explore the zoo on your own after the Bunk ends.
  • Each bunk gets the group leader in free, so select the free attendee for your leader.

Brownie Girl Scout - Senses Bunk

Brownies Senses Bunk, is an Overnight Adventure for Brownies. At this Bunk, Brownie Girl Scouts will earn their Senses Badge and stay overnight in Denver Zoo s onsite Gates Education Center.

Career Discovery Day

Date: March 25th, 2016 9:30AM-12:30PM

This event is for teens in middle school only

Reminder: an adult chaperone (18+) MUST be registered to participate in the event.

From keepers to trainers, veterinarians and exhibit designers, a wide variety of possible zoo and animal careers will be explored during our Career Discovery Day this winter! The program kicks off with an engaging assembly featuring our animal stars.  Participants hear from zoo professionals during scheduled demonstrations, participate in special tours and visit breakout sessions of their choice filled with activities, information and time to ask questions about what it takes to work on the wild-side.

NOTE: Seating is limited for the career assembly and entry to the job fair and special tours will be restricted to registered participants and chaperones only. Upon confirmation of registration, participants will receive e-mail confirmation.

Daisy Girl Scout Bunk - 3 Cheers for Animals

Daisy 3 Cheers for Animals Bunk, is an Overnight Adventure for Daisies. At this Bunk, Daisy Girl Scouts participate in our 3 Cheers for Animals program and stay overnight in Denver Zoo's onsite Gates Education Center.

Bunk with the Beasts overnight adventures offer a more intimate, personalized exploration of the zoo. Each Bunk with the Beast overnight adventure includes different activities specific to the theme, but you can count on an active, fun-filled experience that includes:

  • A guided zoo tour focusing on animals relating to the Bunk theme
  • Animal encounters (you will not touch a tiger, but you will get up close and personal with some of our education animals).
  • A variety of educational games and activities, including use of night vision scopes.

Family Bunk - Wild Lights, Wild Winter

Wild Lights, Wild Winter, Bunk with the Beasts Overnight Adventure. Join us for dinner, then go out and experience the wonder of Denver Zoo Lights as a family.

When you're ready to warm up inside, we'll be waiting with hot cocoa and fun crafts and activities that explore how wild animals adapt to winter habitats. Wake up in the morning to a warm breakfast and a before-hours private tour of the zoo.

Important information:

  • Children must be 5+ to attend bunk
  • This bunk includes, dinner, snack and breakfast.
  • Registered participants are free to explore the zoo on your own after the Bunk ends.

Worried you won't be able to see the Utahraptor hunting in the night? Your safari guide will have night vision scopes ready as we explore the Zoo after hours to discover what dinosaurs and present-day animals have in common.

Bunk with the Beast overnight adventure includes different activities, but you can count on an active, fun-filled experience that includes:

  • Private tours of the Zoo after hours

Group Bunk - Africa Predator Versus Prey

Africa: Predator v.s. Prey, a Bunk with the Beasts Overnight Adventure. At this Bunk, your zoo safari will bring you face to face with predator and prey! Discover their adaptations for tracking the herd or escaping the hunt. Prowl with the pride and run with the pack as you view lions, wild dogs, banded mongoose and other residents of the majestic African savanna.

Group Bunk - Careers

Career Teen Bunk, a Bunk with the Beasts Overnight Adventure for teens. Denver Zoo's Career Bunk is a new overnight program that will introduce teens to the ins and outs of landing careers in animal husbandry (animal keeping), animal nutrition, and animal training. Teens will participate in guided zoo and behind-the-scenes tours, animal training sessions, hands-on activities, live animal demonstrations, and interactive discussions about preparing for a career working directly with animals. Plenty of fun and food, too!

Child: $55 per child

Adult Chaperone: $55 per adult (One adult per 10 children is free)
