Over the course of this 3-session series, we will explore what different animals eat, how they get and eat those foods, and how scientists classify animals using these characteristics. Each session will have a focus on a specific eating style; carnivores, herbivores, or omnivores. Participants will be given the opportunity to learn about the topic through live animal encounters along with nature-based free play and exploratory stations. Your child will be able to relate what s/he discovers to themselves by referencing their personal eating habits. Through this connection, we hope that your child will leave our program confident in sharing about food chains with others.
